Join the Bolton Food & Drink Festival’s young chef programme and take part in exciting cookery sessions with a professional chef.

Learn new skills and take part in fun challenges to help you on your journey.

If you are between the age of 11-17 years old and have an interest in cooking then we want to hear from you!

Sessions will be on the following dates and you must be available for them all:

Apply now by emailing 200 words on why you want to join the programme or send a two minute video.  

Please also include your name, age, address and contact number (this can be a parent or guardians number).

Each participant will receive a branded apron to take home.

Both age group winners will receive a branded chef’s jacket and the opportunity to take part in some work experience in a restaurant!

Winners will be crowned on Saturday 29th August at the festival and presented by James Martin himself!

Please note – there are limited spaces available and applications will be subject to a shortlisting process by a panel.
